Where I'm At

Since 2006, I've had persistent medical problems resulting from a chronic medical condition first diagnosed that year. Those problems were mostly under control from 2007 through the beginning of 2009. In February 2009, those problems got worse again and I've been battling them to a draw. Since January of this year, that battle has taken even more time than I'd like, so I've been online a lot less.

That all sounds dramatic (mainly because I'm leaving out the interesting and uninteresting details*), but it's not really. I have to take these problems seriously, but I'm not dying, nor am I dying faster than anyone else. I've got health coverage and family and friends helping out. It's just that medical matters have been consuming more of my time, some of which I would spend blogging if I had my choice.

I'm still around. If you read comments at certain other blogs for which registration is not required, you may have seen/will see me there. I'm not going to shut the blog down, at least for now. I will still post, although probably more irregularly than in the past. Who knows what will happen the future?  (Hint: not Sylvia Browne.)

Thank you for reading, and for your support.

* Feel free to speculate -- It would be irresponsible not to!

Sorry about that. I was transitioning off of my daily blogging to develop and produce new programming for the Fox News Channel as well as other several other platforms.

(Menthol, meet sphincter.)

But seriously, you deserve an explanation for my disappearance. I'll try to give you one very soon. And an apology.
