Remember Back In Eighty-Two....

Deb Saunders imposes a three-year statute of limitations on criticism of Arnold:

Debra Saunders, a conservative San Francisco Chronicle columnist who says she is troubled by Schwarzenegger's treatment of women, called the Times story "vile" and said "it makes our profession look horrible."

"To look at something that's 20, 30 years old, that's just not fair and not relevant," Saunders said. "If you have to go back to the '70s, '80s and '90s to make your point, maybe it's not a point."

Somehow I can't imagine Deb applied such a time limit to, say, Whitewater or President Clinton's activities during the draft. Or that she would apply it to assault committed against herself.
