So Much For Concern For The Victims Of Crime

"The son of a prominent Washington, D.C. conservative leader is scheduled to attend a hearing in federal court later this month after being arrested and charged with shooting at a driver. ...

Keene's father, besides being chairman of the [American Conservative Union], is also on the board of directors of the National Rifle Association, which said the group's thoughts and prayers go out to the Keene family, according to NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam.

'This matter is in the hands of law enforcement and if any laws are broken, it has to be dealt with just like any other case,' Arulanandam said. 'Celebrity parents have to deal with these issues all the time and during this difficult time, our hearts go out to the parents.'"
(Emphasis added.)

Yeah, that's it! Screw Keene's intended victim, the "celebrity parents" are the real victims here. Just imagine their suffering. Just imagine the attorneys fees. It's ... heartbreaking.

How about that bit of spin? -- "if" any laws are broken. The NRA can't even begin to imagine that shooting at another motorist might be illegal, at least when a white boy from a conservative family is involved.

And in what universe do celebrity parents "deal with" their kids attempting to murder someone else "all the time?" Are the offspring of Hollywood liberals going on kill sprees which their friends in the liberal media cover up? Even the demon seed of George and Jeb haven't gone this far.
