Conservative readers love Drudge and Ayn Rand; liberals like the Times and Noam Chomsky. This earth-shattering conclusion is based on Facebook "likes," not what people are actually reading. Thus, what the groups actually read -- internet porn and their e-mail -- is not addressed.
Presently, I'm reading Joseph Anton by Salman Rushdie and The Twenty-Year Death by Ariel S. Winter.

I just finished Joseph Anton. How far along are you? And what do you think so far?
So far, I've learned that Rushdie loves his kid and that Marianne Wiggins is a total nutjob, according to Rushdie.
It's worth reading for the most part, with maybe a bit too much namedropping and recycling of Rushdie's journals. The bits about his parents/heritage and his inspirations for TSV are the most interesting, along with the details about the limitations placed on his freedom. Rushdie's referring to himself as he gets a little confusing/annoying at times. He's probably got a point about being unfairly presented in the press, but he's probably not as wonderful as he portrays himself either.
Just passed the part where he recounts his two encounters with Enoch "Nucky" Powell.
